Police to Wait Tables to Benefit The Wall That Heals Visit

Tip-a-Cop will be held Sunday at Bertucci's in Manchester.

Manchester police and Bertucci’s Restaurant are teaming up to help bring The Wall That Heals to town.

A Tip-a-Cop event has been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 16 at the Bertucci’s in the Shoppes at Buckland Hills.

Police officers will wait on tables from 11 a.m. to closing that day, and will donate all their tips to offset the costs of bringing The Wall That Heals to Manchester this fall. Bertucci’s will also donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to the effort.
