RHS Annual Dig Pink Match Raises More Than $1,000

In the annual Dig Pink match, the Rams shut out Manchester 3-0.

The Rockville High School girls volleyball team was able to raise more than $1,000 to fight breast cancer in the annual Dig Pink match on Friday, coach Kimberly Marinan said. 

The money is be donated to the Side-Out Foundation, which donates to cancer-related causes through volleyball.

In the annual Dig Pink match, the Rams shut out Manchester 3-0. 

The games scores  were 25-11, 25-11, 26-24. 

The standouts for Rockville were Amy Eitelman with 15 assists, Corrine Perry with five aces and Danielle Wemmell – 6 kills

Manchester fell to 1-8.

Rockville improved to 4-7.

Rockville's next game is scheduled for Tuesday at Tolland.
