Rockville Loses a Close Volleyball Match

The Rockville high school girls volleyball squad dropped a close one to Wethersfield 3-2 on Friday at home. 

The game scores were 9-25, 26-24, 25-21, 5-25, 15-11.

 Standouts for Wethersfield were Kelly McDonald with 19 digs, Lian Hoffman with 16 assists and Paige McDunnah with five kills and a half-dozen digs.

The Standouts for Rockville were Danielle Wemmell with 12 kills and 8 aces, Claire Ufongene with six kills, Amy Eitelman with 20 assists and Katia Ruesta with 12 digs,

Wethersfield is now 5-4 and Rockville fell to 1-7.

Rockville's next game is scheduled for Monday at Fermi.
