Snow Forecast Prompts Change To Vernon Trash, Recycling Pickups

VERNON, CT — Anticipated heavy snow has prompted officials in Vernon to revise the trash and recycling schedules.

Thursday's trash and recycling collections have been called off to keep local roads clear for snowplows, town officials said.

Thursday trash and recycling will instead be collected Friday along with that day's regular collections, officials said.
