Teen Resists Arrest in Vernon 2 Times in 3 Days
A Vernon teen fought with police two times in three days, according to reports.

VERNON, CT — An teen was arrested twice in a span of a few days for adult-sized crimes, Vernon police said.
The teen's name cannot be released by Vernon police because because names of juvenile arrestees are exempt from disclosure per state law.
The first incident involved a fight at 9:53 p.m. last Sunday, police said. The teen, 17 years old and 6-1, 220 pounds, was involved in a fight at 21 Brooklyn St., police said. Police found the boy at the nearby Courthouse Plaza and three others after they fled the scene.

The boy then fought with police. He tried to push them away and reach for his pocket and had to be subdued, according to a report.
He had a realistic looking BB gun on him, police said.

Three days earlier, he was arrested with the same two juveniles for car burglaries on River Street, police said.
He resisted arrest in that incident as well, police said.
