Toddler Seriously Injured After Falling Off Cliff: Vernon Police
The accident occurred on Saturday, police said.
VERNON, CT — A toddler sustained serious injuries after falling from a cliff, Vernon Police said.
At 11:55 a.m. Saturday, Vernon Police, Fire and EMS responded to the Rails to Trails near Washington Street and Brookview Drive for a child who fell off a cliff, police said.
The toddler-aged child sustained serious injuries, police said. The child was with a parent and other children who were not injured. Responders provided emergency care and extricated the child from the trail.
