The June 28 open house day at Valley Falls Farm and Heritage Center will feature members of the Wethersfield Art League Plein Air Painters Group who will be capturing on canvas scenic views of the museum property. Visitors are welcome to watch or chat with the artists, who will also have artwork for sale in the Red Barn Welcome Center. The non-profit heritage center features a gentleman’s farm that includes six historical buildings filled with items found on the property. Self tours from 1-4 pm; guided tour 2-3 pm.
