Vernon Historical Society Not Accepting Book Donations After April 7

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Historical Society will stop accepting donations for its annual book sale as of April 7.

"We thank you for the generous donation of books and look forward to seeing you at the sale," officials said in a message to the community.

Heres the schedule for the VHS annual book sale:

Free admission

• Friday, April 29 - noon to 6 p.m.
• Saturday, April 30 - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sunday, May 1 - noon to 4 p.m.
• Friday, May 6 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Saturday, May 7 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• (Closed on May 8 for Mother's Day)

Preview Night- $10 admission

• Thursday, April 28 - 6 to 9 p.m.
