Vernon Man Winds Up on Hood of Car During Domestic: Cops

The incident was over the weekend, police said.

VERNON, CT — A man blocked an exit, then ran down a Rockville street and wound up sprawled on the hood of a car while chasing a woman around during a domestic dispute, police said.

Ronald Brooks, 24, of 6 Oak Street, in the Rockville section of Vernon, was charged with disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief for the Sunday incident, police said.

The incident was at 9:30 p.m. and Brooks first prevented a woman from leaving the residence, shased her down the street and then jumped onto a hood of the car driven by someone who came to pick the woman up. police said.
