Vernon Names New Cemetery Superintendent

VERNON, CT — Kevin Bowman is joining the town of Vernon staff at the new cemetery superintendent, town administrator Michael Purcaro said Wednesday.

Bowman is scheduled to begin Aug. 31.

Bowman is a Vernon resident and brings extensive experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance, primarily working with a local funeral home for the past 25 years, Purcaro said.

"Kevin and his family have a long and proud history of community service with the Vernon Volunteer Fire Department. Please join me in welcoming Kevin to our team," Purcaro said.
