Vernon Police Department Runs for Special Olympics

Officers and supporters ran on Route 30 today.

Today at noon, the Vernon Police Department and supporters ran in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics.

The officers ran 5.5 miles down Route 30 and told residents to expect traffic delays.

The department thanks Rockville High School’s School Resource Officer Steven Langlais for organizing VPD’s involvement in supporting Special Olympics and the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
