Vernon Police Investigating Car Burglaries
At least nine cars had items stolen from them Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Vernon police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after several overnight car burglaries.
On Tuesday, police took nine reports of unlocked vehicles that were entered during the overnight hours of Aug. 17 into Aug. 18. The stolen items were mostly cash, change, and small personal items.
The burglaries were reported on Tracy Drive, Tumblebrook Drive and Peterson Road.
