Vernon Trash Pick-Up Schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2015 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Refuse and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected the following day on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 along with that day’s collection.

Excess refuse and recycling may be brought to the Transfer Station free of charge year round on Wednesdays and Saturdays 8 am to 4 pm and Sundays noon to 4 pm.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Sunday, January 18, 2015.
