Vernon Trash Schedule Adjusted For Presidents Day
Presidents Day will change the Vernon trash and recycling schedule.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Feb. 17 in observance of Presidents Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected that day, but will instead will be collected the following day along with the regular Tuesday collection.
Excess trash and recycling can be brought to the Vernon Transfer Station free of charge year-round on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Feb. 16.
