VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 in observance of Labor Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day but instead will be collected the following day on Tuesday, Sept. 6, along with that day’s regular collection.
If delays occur, residents are asked to keep your carts at the curb.
