Volunteers Sought for Valley Falls Heritage Center

If you love history and nature and want to help preserve “Vernon’s Jewel,” please consider volunteering with the Friends of Valley Falls. With the opening this past summer of the Valley Falls Heritage Center, your help is especially needed!

Here are some of the ways you can help:

• Museum greeters and docents
• Publicity and newsletter assistants
• Exhibit assistants
• Grant writers
• Clerical and computer assistance
• Building cleaners and maintainers
• Landscape and garden maintainers
• Periodic clean-up projects
• Touch-up painting of buildings
• Carpentry and exterior building maintenance
