Local baseball in the fall?
Yes indeed.
The Vernon Youth Baseball Organization - is accepting Fall Ball registrations right now for players 12 through 15.
Fall Ball has a much more relaxed schedule than regular season baseball - all players get plenty of playing time, an opportunity to hone their skills, plus try a variety of field positions.
The program is also designed to give graduating 12-year-olds from Little League a less-stressful introduction to the larger, 90-foot infield before the spring leagues begin.
Fall Ball Fees are $90 for one player, with a family discount of $170 for two players and $250 for three players.
A registration form can be accessed via - eteamz.com/vybo - and clicking on "handouts." The form can be mailed with applicable fees to the VYBO, P.O. Box 6, Vernon, CT 06066.
