Woman Charged For Vernon Protective Order Violations On 5 Warrants

Vernon police said they have charged a woman for violating protective order violations 5 times over.

VERNON, CT — Vernon police have charged a Glastonbury woman with violating a protective order on five occasions in town.

Cheryl Wortham, 55, was picked up by Friday Glastonbury police on warrants and sent to Vernon police for processing.

On two of the warrants, she is charged with violating the court order, police said. On three of them, a disorderly conduct charge was included in addition to the protective order violation.

As of Wednesday, Wortham was being held on bonds totaling $15,050 and is due back in Rockville Superior Court on Oct. 12, according to judicial system records.
