Woman Tries to Run Over Another During Vernon Dispute: Cops
A child was nearby, according to a report.

VERNON, CT — Two women were arrested after a fight in which one tried to ram the other with a car with children nearby, police said.
Police released the details of the May 31 incident on Wednesday.
Chassidy Cruz, 25, of 19 Spring St., Vernon, was charged with three counts of second-degree breach of peace, two counts of risk of injury and three counts of criminal attempt at second-degree assault, according to an arrest report. Her bond was set at $25,000, police said.

Iris DeJesus, 35, of 32 Morrison St., was charged with third-degree assault with a $2,500 bond, according to an arrest report.
On May 31 at 5:49 p.m., officer were called to a home on Spring Street to investigate a dispute, according to an arrest report.

An investigation revealed that Cruz tried to hit DeJesus with a vehicle during the fracas, according to an arrest report. DeJesus had thrown an object at a friend of Cruz's, according to an arrest report.
