Obituary: Glafira Cerna de Sagrero, 68, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Glafira Cerna de Sagrero, 68, of Wallingford, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

She was born in Mexico, November 2, 1952, a daughter of the late Basilo Cerna and Barbarita Dominguez. She had been employed by MW Industries Inc. Economy Spring/Lifeline products.

Glafira was a brave and strong woman, never a quitter. Always gave it her all whether it was at work or at home with her family.

When it came down to her grandchildren she would do anything to make them smile. Sunday’s would be always welcoming in her home right after church. Freshly made rice and warm handmade tortillas. She loved flowers, listening to music and writing. She will be greatly miss by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Braulio Sagrero; her children Susana Sanchez, Sandra Sagrero, Lili García and Leo Sagrero ; her grandchildren Arturo Sanchez, Alma Rosa Sanchez, Belen Sánchez, Omar, Juárez, Uriel Juárez, Allyson Juárez, Christian García, Sasha García, Dairo García, Kaliana Isabella Sagrero and one great grandchildren soon to be born.
