• Wallingford man killed by rockfall while working at Seymour quarry, police say (ctpost.com) — A 41-year-old man from Wallingford died Monday after rocks fell on him while he operated heavy machinery at Haynes Quarry in Seymour, despite efforts by first responders to save him. Seymour police, state police investigators, the fire marshal, and state workplace safety officials are investigating how the fatal rockfall occurred.
