Wallingford Credit Union Robbed
Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Wednesday afternoon.

Wallingford Police say a man jumped over the counter and emptied a cash drawer during a robbery of the Wallingford Municipal Federal Credit Union at 88 South Main Street on Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery occurred at about 3:19 p.m. and police said the suspect ran down to Prince Street and got into a dark colored sedan that did not have any visible license plates.
The suspect is a man with a dark complexion, according to police. He was wearing dark clothing, white sneakers, and gloves. He was carrying a messenger style bag.

Police said the suspect didn’t display a weapon and no injuries occurred.
