Vinny's Deli in Wallingford Gives Police Officers a Thumbs Up
Deli shows appreciation by giving all officers a free sandwich.

Vinny’s Deli in Wallingford showed its support to local police officers by giving all officers, current and retired, that stopped by the deli on Thursday a free sandwich.
Vinny Iannuzzi, the deli’s owner, told the Meriden Record-Journal that it was his way of showing appreciation in the wake of the recent killing of two New York police officers.
Iannuzzi told the Record-Journal that Wallingford police have always been there for him, regardless of the hour, whenever he needed them. He said that the deli has been broken into several times over the last 33 years.
