Wallingford Police Officers Save 2-Week-Old Baby's Life

The officers ran from a job directing traffic to respond to a nearby 911 call of a baby who stopped breathing and was unresponsive.

Wallingford police officers Det. Shawn Fairbrother and Officer Darrin Frith ran from an extra-duty job directing traffic to respond to a nearby 911 call and save a 2-week-old baby’s life on Monday afternoon, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports the baby had fallen from an infant seat, stopped breathing and was unresponsive and the officers performed CPR to resuscitate the infant.
