Wallingford Restaurant Robbed at Knifepoint Again: Report

The restaurant was robbed at knifepoint for the second time in less than a month.

For the second time in less than a month, Kender’s Indian Palace on East Center Street has been robbed at knifepoint, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports the restaurant was robbed at knifepoint around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and State Police were notified to be on the lookout for a suspected vehicle on the highways in the area.

The restaurant was also robbed on Oct. 27 at about 6:50 p.m. In that incident, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded money and forced his way into the cash register and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
