Wallingford Woman Using Drone to Aid in Search of Beloved Missing Dog
Tai went missing on April 10.

A Wallingford woman is using photos taken from a drone to aid in the search for her beloved 14-year-old Sheltie mix, Tai, who went missing on April 10, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Diane Barillaro, a U.S. Army veteran, has spent some of her days examining the 2,300 photos taken of the area surrounding her home by Bryce Fountain, of Vernon, who builds his own quad-copter drones.
Barillaro was put in contact with Fountain through the volunteer pet finder organization Dog Gone Recovery after ground searches were unsuccessful.

Tai has hip dysplasia, a condition resulting from an improperly formed hip joint, and Barillaro told the Record-Journal he will “scurry away” when approached.
