TVOA’s “Fine Art Festival” Sharon on the Green
The Voice of Art (TVOA) is organizing its sixth annual outdoor juried fine art show, “Fine Art Festival” Sharon on the Green. This show is free and open to the public and will showcase high-quality fine art and fine functional art created by the artists from CT plus six other states. TVOA’s Fine Art Festival will be a highlight for art collectors and residents from the Tri-State region, New England and beyond.
· Memorial Day Weekend: Sat-Sun, May 23-24, 2026 (10am-5pm)

This year, we’re bringing the community together not just to walk, but to gather for a&nbsp;Purple Picnic&nbsp;celebration afterward (Food&nbsp;provided by EFCT).
This family-friendly event is all about connection, support, and showing our strength as a community. Walk alongside individuals and families impacted by epilepsy.
Vendors will be on site sharing resources, services, and information designed to support those living with epilepsy and their caregivers. Whether you’re coming to honor a loved one, meet others who understand your journey, or learn more about epilepsy, we can't wait to see you!
Any teams who fundraise $100 or more, will receive a free sign with their team's name on it!
Wear your purple, and join us for a meaningful day of awareness, advocacy, and community.Please Note:&nbsp; This is a Dog Free Park (Except Service Animals)

Public, private and homeschooled students from across Connecticut are invited to submit for a chance to be recognized and published for their outstanding work. The top selects have the option to read their piece in front of a live audience ASAP!’s Annual Fundraiser in May. Submissions to the Celebration of Young Writers are free.

The United Church of Christ Southbury

UCC Southbury invites the community to join them for the 50th Annual Southbury Strawberry Festival on the spacious Church Green, located at 283 Main Street North, in Southbury, CT, to be held on Saturday, June 6th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (rain or shine).
There will be fresh strawberry shortcakes with homemade whipped cream, live music by Band o’ Brothers, Nick Depuy and Adelaide Punkin, assorted baked goods, grilled foods and Food Trucks including Cousins Maine Lobster and Red Apple Catering with Ben &amp; Jerry’s Ice Cream on hand. Also featuring raffle prizes, Kids Zone bouncy house, games and activities, and 40 different vendors and artisans for interested shoppers. 
We encourage all attendees to take advantage of the FREE PARKING SHUTTLE from 22 Old Waterbury Rd (only 500 yards away).
Entry to the Strawberry Festival is free. All activities benefit Local Missions and Outreach Programs of the United Church of Christ, Southbury. We look forward to seeing you there!
