Police Release Cause of Death After Body Found Near Tattoo Shop
On Sept. 4, Emily Eshenfelder's body was found near the Lost Soul Tattoo Shop in New London. She was a resident of Quaker Hill.

When Emily Eshenfelder’s body was found near the Lost Soul Tattoo Shop in New London on Sept. 4, an investigation began and police released tentative information stating they believed her death may have been an accident.
New London Police released an official cause of death Tuesday, Sept. 15, The Day reported.
According to police, Eshenfelder’s death was accidental and evidence indicated a fall was involved. Police do not suspect foul play.

Her obituary on the Byles-MacDougall Funeral Service website shared details about Eshenfelder’s interests and hobbies.
Eshenfelder graduated from Waterford High School and was involved in field hockey and ice hockey. She worked in her family business as manager of Captain Scotts Lobster Dock in New London.

Eshenfelder was a huge fan of Lady GaGa, and attended numerous concerts, even traveling to Ireland to see her live in concert.
She had a flair for fashion, a large Converse sneaker collection and a dog named Pancake who was by her side for every adventure.
