Thousands Ticketed, Hundreds of Accidents Reported on CT's Highways During Labor Day 2015 Weekend
Three fatal accidents were reported, as well as dozens of DUI arrests, and other crime stats released by Connecticut State Police.

Troopers patrolled the highways and roads in Connecticut over the 2015 Labor Day Weekend. The enforcement project began at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 4 and ran through 11:59 p.m. Sept. 7.
Troopers focused on drunken driving violations, aggressive drivers, distracted drivers and speeding. Sobriety checkpoints and targeted DUI patrols were in place over the entire weekend.
These state police stats cover the time period starting at midnight on Sept. 4 and through Sept. 7.

- Seatbelt: 98
- Other Moving Violations: 4,132 (Including but not limited to unsafe lane changing, following too closely, using the cell phone and texting)
- DUI Arrests: 45
