2 Charged, More To Come In West Hartford Coastal Tool Robbery
Two men have been charged in connection with a theft at a West Hartford business, police said.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two men have been assigned Oct. 21 court dates after being arrested in connection with a Tuesday robbery at Coastal Tool in West Hartford.
Another arrest is anticipated, police said.
At 9:30 Tuesday morning, West Hartford Police Department received a call of a possible robbery
at Coastal Tool, 571 New Park Ave.

A witness supplied officers with a registration plate number and a description of a white Toyota Corolla occupied by three men, police said.
A short time later, the vehicle was located by members of the Greater Hartford Regional Auto Theft Task
Force in Hartford and the trio was taken into custody, police said.

The stolen merchandize was recovered and police estimated its value at $1,460.
The Coastal Tool employees working at the time were not injured, police said.
One suspect was uncooperative and has not yet been identified, police said. He will be facing robbery, interfering and larceny charges.
Nicardo Brown, 33, of Albany Ave., Hartford, was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in the fourth degree and conspiracy to commit robbery in the third degree. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond, police said.
Steven Reynolds, 60, of Bridgeport, was charged with the same crimes, police said. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
Reynolds was subsequently charged for failure to appear in court for a case involving a theft at a Scooter Pros outlet in Vernon.
