The North Main Street Road Diet Trial began in August 2021. The next phase of the project involves an extensive evaluation of the road diet on North Main Street between Albany Avenue (Route 44) and Farmington Avenue. The purpose of the trial is to evaluate the road diet concept and determine if it is a success or failure.
The public informational meeting is being conducted to invite public participation and to allow "open discussion of any views and comments the community may have concerning the ongoing Road Diet Trial," officials said.
