Anti-Trump Vandalism At School Leads To Arrest Of West Hartford Man: Police
The man is accused of writing "threatening and vulgar" messages about President Donald Trump at a West Hartford elementary school.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford man has been arrested in connection to threatening and vulgar messages that were recently written about President Donald Trump at an elementary school, according to police. The vandalism was discovered on the grounds of Morley School on June 16. Several anti-Trump writings were found on benches, playground equipment and other areas, according to police.
Police said several messages were threatening and vulgar in nature written in what appeared to be a green Sharpie pen. Video from the previous night showed a white male suspect on a bike doing the damage. (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
With the assistance of the public, a person of interest was identified and police received tips from the public as well as a call from the suspect himself after seeing his picture on the news, police said.

Steven Marks, 32, of West Hartford, was arrested on a warrant and charged with breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.
Police said Marks posted a $500 bond and was given a court date to appear at Hartford Community Court.
