Busy West Hartford Road Closed Due To Storm Damage: PD
A busy section of roadway in town was closed Thursday morning to both pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The recent wind/rain storm appeared to hit West Hartford hard, with local police late this morning warning motorists of downed trees, utility wires and poles in town.
The West Hartford Police Department said the affected area is on South Main Street at Webster Hill Boulevard.
As a result, both pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic is closed in both directions on South Main between Park Road and Crestwood Road.

Police said detours are in place and crews are working to clear the area.
Businesses on South Main Street between Webster Hill Boulevard and Park Road are still accessible from north of the affected intersection, police wrote.
