Car Crashes Inside Business In West Hartford: Police
The business is temporarily closed after a driver crashed inside the store, according to police.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A business is temporarily closed after a driver crashed inside the store Friday afternoon in West Hartford, according to police.
Emergency crews responded around 1:15 p.m. to a crash involving a car striking and entering the Dry Kleaning By McKleans store at 2477 Albany Avenue, according to police.
Police said arriving units found a vehicle occupied only by the driver and was completely inside the store.

The driver was extricated and taken to the hospital for precautionary examination and care, according to police.
Police said there didn’t appear to be any serious injuries.

The vehicle was removed and the West Hartford Fire Marshall’s Office was called to conduct a building damage assessment, according to police.
“At this time the store is closed for the remainder of the day and may be closed over the weekend,” police wrote in a news release. “Customers are requested to call them before going to the store.”
The crash is being investigated by the West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division.
