Car/Motorcycle Crash In West Hartford Cleared: UPDATE
The incident happened on South Main Street Monday afternoon.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police are investigating a serious car-versus-motorcycle crash with "suspected injuries" Monday afternoon, a crash that wasn't cleared until about 6:18 p.m.
The West Hartford Police Department issued an alert via "X" (formerly Twitter) that the incident was near the intersection of New Britain Avenue and South Main Street.
Police said South Main Street was closed to traffic in both directions from New Britain Avenue to Beechwood Road.

Cars exiting Interstate 84 onto South Main were diverted northbound on South Main Street.
The incident was first reported at 2:30 p.m. Monday and, by 6:18 p.m., West Hartford police said normal traffic operations had resumed in that area.

Traffic on South Main St has resumed to normal. Both the I84 on and off ramps have also returned to normal traffic patterns. Thank you for your patience.
