Update: Crash That Snarled I-84 Traffic In West Hartford Cleared

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Rain-slicked pavement on Interstate 84 in West Hartford also featured a traffic snarl following a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning, an accident that is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the accident happened on I-84 eastbound between exits 39A and 40.

This had resulted in the right lane of traffic being closed, DOT officials said.

The crash was reported at about 6:59 a.m. and DOT officials via Twitter said it was cleared by 7:36 a.m.
