Update: Crash Cleared On Interstate 84 In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A single-vehicle accident in the rain and wind Wednesday afternoon had traffic slowed on Interstate 84 in West Hartford, but authorities has the scene cleared quickly.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the right lane was closed on I-84 east between exits 43 and 44 after the accident, which was reported at 2:25 p.m.

DOT officials said the disabled vehicle associated with the incident was cleared by 2:50 p.m.
