Dog Goes Missing After Car Accident: UPDATE

UPDATE: Roxy was found and was back at home on Thursday night.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford family is asking for assistance with locating their lost dog, Roxy, who went missing after a car accident near the convention center in Hartford on Wednesday night. Roxy’s owners say she took off over Founders Bridge into East Hartford.

Roxy is 4 years old and was wearing a blue collar with a Yankees tag and the family’s contact information on it. Roxy was not injured in the accident as she ran about a mile or so from the accident over the bridge. (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Roxy is a rescue and is “super shy and a little wary of strangers, but super sweet,” according to her owner Debra Morton.
