Dog Struck By Car, Owner Urgently Sought: West Hartford Animal Control
Animal Control officials are asking for the public's assistance with locating the injured dog's owner, saying "time is crucial."
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Animal Control is urgently trying to locate the owner of a dog that was hit by a car over the weekend. Animal Control officials say the dog was hit by a car and taken to a veterinarian by police.
She was found by Work out World on Shield Street (off of New Britain Avenue and South Street) on Sunday, June 25, according to officials. (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
“She is resting and in the care of Animal Control for the time being, but needs TLC, meds and possible surgery option,” the animal control said in a post on Facebook. “Time is crucial to locate her owner. Please contact West Hartford Animal Control at 860-570-8818 with information.”
