Final West Hartford Family Bike Ride of Summer is Wednesday
The ride will begin at the north parking lot at Fernridge Park, 567 Fern St., West Hartford.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Summer's onward march toward another school year continues, with West Hartford Leisure Services hosting its final summertime 'Wheels on Wednesdays' event Aug. 24.
Hosted by West Hartford's recreation department and the "Bike West Hartford" organization, "Wheels on Wednesdays" is a free regular family bike riding event designed to promote exercise and the town's recreational offerings.
The last Family Bicycle Ride of the summer is Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m.

The ride will begin at the north parking lot at Fernridge Park, 567 Fern St., West Hartford, and is facilitated by a member of Bike West Hartford, a local cycling organization. Helmets are required.
