In putting together its plan, library officials used information gathered from more than 2,000 public survey responses, community conversations, discussions with library staff, and input from community stakeholders and leaders.
Ultimately, the library came up with five priorities:
1 - Expand access to library resources.
2 - Increase awareness of library services and reach new users.
3- Support all employees, encouraging them to thrive professionally and personally, to better serve the community.
4 - Build more responsive and inclusive collections and programs.
5- Improve the building experience for all types of users.
Copies of the plan are available at all three locations or they can be downloaded from the library website.
In addition to English, it is also available in Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
