Road Reopens After Gas Leak In West Hartford: UPDATE
Local police were urging motorists to avoid the area Thursday morning, but the roadway has now reopened.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A busy stretch of West Harford roadway was closed Thursday morning due to a natural gas leak, but police say it has now reopened.
The West Hartford Police Department said New Park Avenue was shut down to motor vehicle traffic from Talcott Road to New Britain Avenue.
Police said the leak is "minor," but they urged motorists to avoid the area.

Police posted the alert at 9:27 a.m. and, by 10:29 a.m., they said it was no back open to traffic.
