Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut to Host Career Fair, May 12 in Hartford

WHAT:                       

Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut is hosting a Career Fair that is free to public, as an opportunity to connect job seekers and local employers that are hiring.   Companies and organizations from a variety of different industries will be represented, including AT&T, Big Y Foods, FedEx Ground, Home Depot, and Walgreens, to name a few.

Goodwill’s mission is to provide critical career services and programs to help people who are unemployed or underemployed, as well as help people overcome barriers to employment so they can reach their highest level of independence and self-sufficiency.

Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut was able to help 1,755 people find jobs last year, an average of five people per day.
