A Happy Tail: Lost Dog Reunited With Owner At West Hartford Police Station
Police discovered that "Cabot" belonged to a West Hartford school crossing guard.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A lost dog was reunited with its owner at the West Hartford Police Department when police learned that the owner was a school crossing guard in town.
The dog, “Cabot,” got away from his owner and was brought to a veterinarian in town by a Good Samaritan in town, according to police. (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
“Officer (Leigh) Cogle was called to assist and through a series of phone calls and photos learned Cabot's owner was a WH school crossing guard,” police said in a post on Facebook. “In fact, the guards were at the police station for their regular meeting where Off. Cogle reunited Cabot and owner.”
