Highway On-Ramp In West Hartford Reopened: Update

WEST HARTFORD, CT — An Interstate 84 on-ramp in West Hartford was closed for much of Wednesday afternoon for a "police investigation."

The situation was first reported at 1:41 p.m. and the ramp was still closed at 4:26 p.m. By 5 p.m., though, the state Department of Transportation no longer had it listed on its incident log.

The on-ramp closed was the Exit 42 entrance ramp to I-84 east, Connecticut state police reported.
