Connecticut Weather: Latest Details On Snow This Weekend
Here's the latest thinking on how much snow we may see this weekend. It's hard to believe spring is just a few days away.

There’s one thing that is apparent about Saturday’s snow forecast for Connecticut and that is no one knows how much we’re going to get at this time but it doesn’t look like you need to cancel your plans either.
What everyone agrees upon is that this isn’t going to be a major snowstorm and the computer models are currently all over the place with some suggesting a coating to a couple of inches, while others point to a possibility of six inches in some places.
Here’s the latest thinking from Connecticut’s meteorologists and the National Weather Service. WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Bruce DePrest said “this will not be a strong storm, but some snow appears likely.” Snow would likely not stick until near dark or around 7 p.m., he said.

As for potential accumulation, computer models are all over the place, with some suggesting a coating to two inches and some even up to six inches, DePrest said. Fox 61 suggests we could be looking at a few inches of accumulation Saturday, largely at night.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Kevin Arnone suggested earlier on Thursday that 2-4 inches of snow is possible as an initial accumulation estimate.
At noon Thursday, NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan said, “Interesting setup for the weekend. Right now it doesn't look particularly exciting but any time an upper level low dives south of Connecticut it's worth watching as funny things can happen on the northern and northwestern flank of those things. Stay tuned!”
