Learn About 'President Who?' In West Hartford
The Elmwood Senior Center is hosting a program Aug. 2 that takes a look at four of the lesser-known presidents in U.S. history.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town's Elmwood Senior Center is hosting a program next week that is about American presidents, but not exactly ones you'll see on Mount Rushmore.
Rather, the program entitled "President Who?" will take a look at some of he lesser known presidents in American history, leaders who, perhaps, only the biggest of history buffs are familiar with.
The event is at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, and the discussion/video showings in the program will focus on presidents James Garfield, Benjamin Harrison, Herbert Hoover and Gerald Ford.

"Come meet and learn about presidents whose lives and leadership have been overlooked and underrated," reads an announcement of the program.
The Elmwood Senior Center is located at 1106 New Britain Ave., 2nd Floor.

"President Who?" is being facilitated by local history buff Ric Hanse, "whose passion for history and relevant teaching brings the historical to life."
The event is in-person at the senior center and pre-registration is required.
