Legrand in West Hartford to Donate up to $100,000 to Red Cross Relief Efforts

WEST HARTFORD, CT – Legrand North America, the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, has set up a relief fund through the Red Cross.

The fund has been established in response to the damaging floods that took place in the Bayou-Lafayette region of Louisiana and other recent catastrophes that have devastated several areas of the country, according to a release.

Legrand’s donation to the Red Cross will help provide food, shelter and comfort to those impacted by major storms, fires and other natural disasters that occur across the United States.

Employees are encouraged to make donations to the Red Cross over a 90 day period, and the company will match employee contributions up to a total of $100,000, with a minimum corporate donation of $50,000.

“We recognize the importance of companies like ours to help provide significant assistance to the people and regions affected by such devastating events,” Data Quality Manager and Legrand Better Communities Committee Leader Alessandra Adnani said in a release. “Our employees share a sense of responsibility to come together and assist the Red Cross in helping all communities recover and rebuild as quickly as possible.”
