Man Facing 7 Charges After Pointing Gun In West Hartford: Cops
A man was taken into custody on a $500,000 bond in West Hartford Friday.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A Friday evening gun incident in West Hartford has left a man in custody on a half-million-dollar bond, police said.
At 5:21 p.m., West Hartford police officers were dispatched to the area of 127 Hillcrest Ave. for a fight that involved a person pointing a handgun, according to a report.
The person identified as the aggressor — 42-year-old Hartford resident Bobby Boyd — was taken into custody, police said. Boyd is accused of pointing a gun at another person, police said.

A search of the area resulted in the recovery of a handgun and a baseball bat, police said.

- Criminal possession of firearm
- Carrying a pistol without a permit
- First-degree reckless endangerment
- Risk of injury to minor
- First-degree threatening

Boyd was being held Friday night on a $500,000 surety bond, police said.
