Neighborhood Complaints Down At Los Imperios: West Hartford Police

WEST HARTFORD, CT - Police said neighborhood complaints have gone down at Los Imperios Restaurant and Lounge in recent weeks, the Hartford Courant reported. The department attributes this to the recently-implemented police detail.

A two-officer detail was put in place in the area in response to on-going complaints from neighbors and others, according to the Hartford Courant. Police said the number of calls from area residents has dropped from approximately four to six a night to only two in the past week. The detail costs roughly $1,300 a night, as reported by the Hartford Courant. Police said a difference has been noticeable, with less loitering and illegal activity going on in the area.
